Tour De Carmel: Saturday August 28th
August 4, 2010Below is information from Joe who organizes the ‘Tour De Carmel’ every year. The ride starts at FIT and finishes as his house in Carmel. There is plenty of support along the way and if you don’t want to do the full 100 some people turn around after highway 9 and there’s always the option of getting in/out of SAG vehicles. Let me know if you are interested and/or need more information:
From Joe…
The Tour de Carmel (TDC) is definitely on for Saturday August 28, at 7:00am
at the F.I.T parking lot.
I am letting everyone know that we will have full SAG support, so if you
don’t want to do the whole ride it will be possible to get transport to
Carmel. At 7:00pm we’ll have a BBQ feast and celebration!
We will also be able to transport everyone’s bikes. One van will head back
to F.I.T. on Saturday night, and another will go back by Sunday afternoon at
2:00pm. I will hold any bikes not claimed at my house (nearby) and make sure
they get back to their owners.
The entire event is free. We are looking for any SAG volunteers, please
have them contact me directly. (joe@techworkers.com; 408-206-2545).
